Didn't actually do the other physical checks, tyres, forks damage, bodywork condition, raising mast to full height to check for leaks/wear, load bearing rear cage condition! Tbh not the best informative video!! Also should not be touching the controls whislt the truck is moving...handbrake & neutral then use the levers!!

That, is weird, at my workplace reach look different than that one, instead of steering wheel on the front of the driver it has small steering disk on armrest, also there's no one co troller but few small ones

Your pivot point at the centre of your front wheels not your mast, that figure of 8 manoeuvre is far too wide, if you try that through the chicane there's no way you will get through, also parking brake and neutral should be on whenever operating hydraulics controls, also stabilising tilt should not be applied while the load is still in the racking you should have retracted the mast then applied tilt it was fine here but in situations where the load has tight tolerance's in the racking, applying tilt can cause the load to foul on the horizontal beam on the level above also you did not cover pre use checks or any safety principals such as rated capacity, load centres, vertical and lateral instability etc

you've said "narrow aisle" to many times in your life-time. You're saying "nerrowle reach" with almost a bounce in between the two separate words as one singular word. I had to read description to figure out what you're saying. You as an instructor should know that other facilities call them different names; and not everyone can understand a slang-ed/slinged?-together term when they think forklift and reach are different machines... NOT SAYING I DON'T know the difference, but as a precautionary to stupidity (myself), I contemplated whether or not to watch the whole video just to find out what "nerorrial" was. You already said it was a toyota, so it's not the manufacturer. I thought it was somehow a different machine than a reach truck or "reach". If you're going to slam 2 words together to teach, then why not just say "reach"? you kept the longest term for it and made it sound Icelandic.

That is so true it was my first time driving a forklift. And I got yelled at because I don't know how operate the forklift properly. I only got 2 hours hands on and four hours theory. I thaught I was worthless and a waste little I didn't know you need 8 hours out of training per truck. Maybe if got that I would have been successful . Questions does lift operates in Toronto Canada?

I’m taking a class at my local food bank paid by the city- it’s 6 weeks and I’m also learning the EPJ, scissor life, and reach truck. It cost 2,200 but I’ll be certified with actual working experience. Also this is there 6th class and I’m the first girl to take it.

I never had any formal training to drive a forklift. I told them in the interview I'd never used a forklift and they said we'll train you its fine. Team lead spent an hour or so with me driving through some cones and moving around empty pallets and after all that just said take it as slow as you need to until you get comfortable. After a week I pretty much had it down. Its just as easy if not easier than driving a car you really don't need paid training from some company.
